Those who believe in the power of the God of Peace should pray for peace throughout the world. Even within our short life spans we can see that things have really gotten bad.
At the risk of sounding pessimistic, why do we have more knowledge of human nature while at the very same time the ill-nature of mankind is as uncontrollable as a tornado?
Why do we now have more means of communicating than any other civilization and yet cannot settle our disagreements with communication and cooperation?
Why, when medicine and technology have made so many breakthroughs that make life easier, humans are breaking the peace and cooperation necessary to bring lasting peace within and among nations?

Does Anyone Have the Ingredients for Peace?
All over the world, fear walks proudly into the lives of the young and the old. Everyone seems to want peace on their terms.
Is it something we learn, peace... or is it something we create. Who has the ingredients for piece?
The prevalence of violence and conflicts of all sorts seems to have changed the meaning of "News". There is hardly a TV newscast without the report of some terrible loss of life today.
Every fabrication of a peace deal seems to be a little cookie. It tastes good but doesn't last long. Who has the formula for lasting peace?
I just have to say, it is out of this world.
