The Only Hope Is Being In The City Of Hope
Heaven's hope is the only hope for humanity. This hope, seen only through eyes of faith, is what our loving Creator wants all of us to embrace.It's true that in the absence of hope, death seems to stare one in the face. Normally, we don't even want to think of death. Our natural instinct is to live. But life seems threatened from every side.
Socially, there is enough ethnic or racial hatred to kill. Economically, most people seem to have to work so hard to keep the financial nose from getting around the neck. And environmentally, everything from a freak accident to a natural disaster or sickness seem to be waiting to happen.
The only hope? Is there such a thing? Is there one thing politicians can conjure that will eradicate the social hatred?
What can science and modern technology come up with that will make us safer and prevent suffering?
Are We In A Life-Then-Death Cycle?
According to The Death Clock, I will die on Thursday, October 13, 2033. Statistical probabilities can give "academic guesses" but no one can really predict when you will die. I am glad for that.
Why am I really glad that we cannot predict when we will die? Well, it makes life more comfortable. Death is like the unknown place, and when humans don't know something, they theorize about it. That's just how we are.
There are many theories about heaven and hell that are even preached as sermons (gospel). But isn't it better to simply listen to the account of Someone who has been to heaven in order to know what it really is like?
Is There Really a "Non-fictional" Hope for Mankind?
The only hope for mankind comes from an Extra-terrestrial Source. We have tried, and continue to try, everything we know. All we've had are temporary patches to a perpetual wound - sin.
But there is a City of Hope in heaven - so the Holy Bible says. And just because you can't see it with the Hubble telescope doesn't mean it isn't there.
