The Big Bang - How it happened
A dominant theoretical explanation of the origin of the universe is that somewhere between 10 and 20 billion years ago there was a productive cosmic explosion.
Whatever exploded, be it energy or matter, scientists who subscribe to the evolutionary theory have faith enough to believe that if there was ever one explosion that was non-destructive, it was that one. It resulted in the 'creation' of the universe.
Constructive Explosion
Could there have been a bang? I believe there could have been. Hold on to your seats - hear me out a bit.
Could that cosmic bang have resulted in the creation of stars, planets, and galaxies? Could there have been a 'constructive' explosion of energy or matter?
Did the big bang generate all this light and energy in the universe? And created matter...?
Well, this is the popular view of science... that some very long time ago, an explosion occurred - and look at what we've got!
I have no problem believing that there could have been some massive bang resulting in the unleashing of energy, the spreading of galaxies, or the creation of electrons.
Certainly, I find it hard to deny that there may have been a real explosion. The problem is this...
There has never been a constructive explosion. Looking at all the order in the universe - from the atomic structure to the arrangement of solar systems - that must have been a truly exceptional bang!
It Was A Special Bang
It's easy to believe that there was a very special bang. This must have been a bang generated or engineered by the work of Omnipotence!
In fact, I read in the Bible that this was initiated by mere words:
"And God said, let there be..." - Genesis 1:3, 7
If even a strike of lightning can be so thunderous, why wouldn't the creation of massive planets, the ordering of the earth and solar system environments be commissioned on a 'bang'?
The Bible describes God as doing some things quietly and other things with much noise (bang). See Jeremiah 47:6, Mark 10:49, Isaiah 29:6, Matthew 28:2
I also read elsewhere that God is planning to do something else with a bang! The world has been buzzing about it, all be it nonchalantly, for a long time now. It is no private thing. Still it might surprise you...
Take a look at this:
Psalm 50:3 - "Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him."
It is talking about the judgment - the end of the world (as we know it). It's talking about a re-creation of the earth into what it was meant to be. That will be a bang!
And it's no surprise - it is heaven's hope for you... that you be part of the next constructive BIG BANG! This is not just theory - and is beyond the realm of scientific proofs. But it is our only sure hope in this banged-up world!
