From I was in my teenage years, it became clear to me that life is the slow process of dying - and the process can accelerate rapidly when disaster, tragedy or sickness strikes - such as when one loses a job!

No wonder I have to extract the promise from the verse in the Bible that says, "If it were in this life only we have hope, we'd be - of all men - most miserable!" (paraphrase).
But the hope, the promise, the God-given certainty is that life on earth (as we know it) is not what it was meant to be. There will be a better day, someday.
This is what this site is about - that hope, given by the Creator, in revealing His plans to finally and eternally eradicate the cause of all the ills present and possible on earth today.
Some people keep their religious lives separate and apart from their regular 'secular' modes of operation. It's sort of (like) there is a time for religiosity and there is a time to be 'normal'.
As humans, however are spiritual. We cannot divorce ourselves from our need to worship, to fellowship, to love and be loved. Certain basic needs and traits are what make us... well... people.
This site is about reminding us that there is a higher power, a greater force, outside of ourselves. We are not on our own. We never came into the universe on our own, and we didn't arrive here by accident.
Most importantly, we were not brought here to be left alone. There is a God that is ultimately in control. And still, because of the power of choice invested in every fiber of our being, we can choose whether we want to acknowledge Him or not - and He will not fuss with us if we don't...
He just wishes we would.
